DebtResolutionSupport.com is an independent information site that explains debt in plain English: credit card debt, debt relief options, dealing with collectors, budgeting and credit scores.
What we do
- We explain how each option works, who it tends to fit and what it costs, including the risks and the free alternatives.
- We base articles on official sources such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, the IRS and nonprofit credit counseling organizations, and link to them.
- Every article shows when it was last reviewed. We re-check articles at least every six months, or sooner when rules change.
- We publish a short weekly newsletter with new guides and practical steps.
What we are not
We are not a debt relief company, lender, law firm or credit counselor, and we can’t give advice about your individual situation. For personal help, a nonprofit credit counselor or a legal aid office is a good place to start.
How we make money
The site is free to read. We may be paid when you click links to partners or contact them, and those links are always labeled. Here’s exactly how it works.
Who runs the site
Debt Resolution Support is an independent publisher of plain-English guides about managing debt. We are not a debt relief company, lender, law firm or credit counselor.
